Dallas Andrew Baxter – An Overview

Steve Baxter is an experienced operator of apartment and office property. Steve also has experience in condo conversions, along with major reconstruction.

Steve went to Hill Junior College from 1970-71 on a baseball scholarship and there he was selected President of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and was picked All Tournament in the Texas Regional Tournament.

By 1985, Steve was assembling partnerships and buying larger multifamily units with deferred repairs in need of a turnaround. Steve became known as a “turnaround specialist” since he had the management expertise along with the construction knowledge and aptitude to handle a renovation on time and at a reasonable cost.

Steve Baxter enjoys being in business with associates, because Steve cherishes the personal relationships he has acquired. He knows this is the reason he gets much satisfaction in ministry. He really likes people and they really like him!


Watching his son Andrew Baxter play on the Pearce High School basketball team for example, was a wonderful time in Steve’s life.

Andrew Baxter, Dallas area standout, was voted Pearce High School Junior Class Favorite, and Pearce Pacesetter Drill Team Best Escort as a junior.

Andrew Baxter of Dallas was also very involved in the Christian ministry of Young Life. During his senior year he was Co-President of Pearce Young Life, an evangelistic outreach organization to teenagers . Andrew Baxter always had fun at Young Life in high school. The high school group met once a week, went on summer camps, and encouraged its students in their Christian faith. But BUCS was like Young Life at the next level, fellowship for university students anxious to integrate their college experience with their Christian walk.

Andrew is thankful for the accomplishments of high school, appreciative of his popularity socially and successes athletically. But he would be the first to note that those successes are nothing in comparison to the privilege of knowing Christ and living for Him.

Furthermore, the Bible makes a challenge that goes something like this: "I call heaven and earth to record this day, that I have set before you life and death: therefore, choose life."
